NCA&T State University's Bachelor of Science in Business Education degree will prepare you for a career as a business educator or information technology professional in education, business, government, and other organizations.

Business education combines teaching, technology, communication, critical thinking, leadership, ethics and team building with professionalism.  This major will give you training on state-of-the-art equipment, courseware, and software; and the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge through cooperative training in businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The online degree program is in vocational business education/data processing.  Within this program, you may concentrate in computer technology, economics, or marketing.

The courses in the online Bachelor of Science in Business Education major are the same courses offered by the on-campus program, but you take your courses entirely online.  Regular NCA&T faculty design and teach your online courses, with some adjunct faculty approved by the business education department.  You will stay in contact with your instructors, participate in classroom activities, and complete all the same work as students studying on campus, as required and on time, but you will do it from your computer at home.

Course delivery is asynchronous, enhanced by various interactive Internet-based learning applications.

To complete your degree you must complete a minimum of twelve weeks of student teaching at a North Carolina middle or high school.
