Learn and Earn/Community Colleges

In 2006, the NC General Assembly created Learn and Earn Online to help qualified high school students take a wide variety of community college courses at their high schools during specified hours of the regular school day.

Learn and Earn Online is just one of several North Carolina Learn and Earn initiatives.   For a full explanation of this many-layered program, click here.

Students who complete and receive a grade of “C” or better in any Learn and Earn Online course receive both high school and college credit for that course.
