Learn and Earn/UNC Greensboro iSchool
Launched in 1997 as "Fast Forward," the program that has evolved into UNC Greensboro's precedent-setting iSchool originally offered college courses to high school students solely on a face-to-face basis. Eager and early adaptors of education technology, the program's faculty and technical team began offering Internet-based courses only two years later. Trademarked iSchool in 2006, it leads The University of North Carolina's efforts to extend the college experience to qualified high school students.
Students who complete and receive a grade of “C” or better in any iSchool course receive both high school and college credit for that course.
