Military-Specific Initiatives/Community Colleges

All 58 campuses of the North Carolina Community College System offer online programs suitable for military personnel and their dependents.  Browse the community colleges’ many online offerings at NCCCS’s Virtual Learning Community.

Four NC community colleges offer education services directly on North Carolina military bases.

  • Coastal Carolina Community College maintains extension offices at two military installations: Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.  For complete information, click here.
