This is a topic close to my heart. If ECU didn't offer the master's online, I wouldn't be able to work on my graduate degree. It's that simple. My job requires travel and overtime, often with little advance warning, so face-to-face classes are out of the question for me. In addition, I'm part of that age group of adult children who are responsible for the care of their aging parents, and I need the flexibility that an online course allows. Thanks to instant messaging, online forums, and e-mail, I'm able to communicate with professors and classmates at any time, day or night. I'm grateful that ECU is part of the distance learning revolution.
